Where are the Slime Weapons....?
IN the camp, and they're not in the inventory or anywhwere...on the PS4 you had to DL the DLC...but this is inc. with it? So where are they; if anyone has gotten them?

This.

I even checked for downloadable content and it appears that there is none.

I too have been unable to find them

I'm curious too. Played until you get free roam and still no ability to get the slime weapons, I thought it'd be something like Toukiden where they're just in the mail box when you get to it for the first time.
It's possible the DLC hasn't been released by error or we just haven't gotten far enough to unlock them yet.

they did not add them yet. PS4 version when i reach the first camp it will be there to use.

Ehh this is kinda sad really. When you advertise something like this, w/o the whole "get it later" added in with weapons and such and you're using it as a selling point as well. I mean i love the game thus far, but i wanted those weapons as soon as I hit the camp, just like the PS4 version.

yes by the time you buy 2nd weapons in game then its better than the Slime weapons

I only pre-ordered so I could get that little edge while I got comfortable with the game, by the time they come out I'll probably have beaten it though.

I think everyone will

Has anyone figured this out? Square Enix, sack up and give us the stuff you promised on the sale page. It is called "Slime Edition" and promises additional maps and 13 slime weapons. I could care less about the weapons but the maps are important.

Also, the content is designed to benefit low level characters. The longer it takes for us to get our promised content, the less valuable they will be to us.

We support you with our money and fidelity. We want more of your products on PC... but we also want you to deliver what is advertised.

It's starting to feel like false advertisement when the DLC isn't included with the game as promised.
And if the weapons are as weak as they say, then those that are further in the game are in for a let down when they wont get the chance to use 'em when needed. Guess they should've included a weapon skin feature so one could swap the looks of owned weapons.

im not sure if this is how you get them cause i dont yet understand the treasure maps. but i just got a letter at the post office in game and recived a "slime covered map" that could be how you get them. but im not sure.

meh...the fact that the game made it to PC is good enough for me :steamhappy:

It is absolutely advertised falsely and I'm surprised that there is not more ruckus about this... The weapons are not the important feature of the slime edition content. It also includes 2 extra maps that give us access to bonus xp crafting recipes and materials. Even if they are 5% xp bonus, we can wear 3 of them on each character and that adds up to +60% xp per map.

These items are not available and the crafting materials to make them are not available as advertised on the official store page.

Steam would be obligated to grant a refund to anyone requesting one based on the advertised content being unavailable...

However, I don't want a refund... I just want the items advertised.

Please Steam. Tell SQUENIX to get their act together and give us our content AS ADVERTISED.

The slime covered map gives you access to a map that is the same terrain as the field in front of Calliburgh but with hundreds of slimes on it. They spawn more after you clear all the mobs out and eventually you can clear the map. It counts toward 100% completion and can be used to farm "Salt of the Earth" and "Sime Drop" items for crafting.

I just found this on the square enix store website:

*On or Near Release Date Delivery. While we try our best to schedule delivery to arrive on the release date, actual delivery date may vary depending on your location and method of shipping. Orders received after September 28th, 2015 11:59pm PST will arrive after the Release Day.

This pertains to the physical collector's edition and day one editions of the game for the PS4. Perhaps they have a similar plan that is not displayed anywhere I have been able to track it down... With any luck we will get our stuff tomorrow...

Here's to hoping...
