This.
I even checked for downloadable content and it appears that there is none.
It's possible the DLC hasn't been released by error or we just haven't gotten far enough to unlock them yet.
Also, the content is designed to benefit low level characters. The longer it takes for us to get our promised content, the less valuable they will be to us.
We support you with our money and fidelity. We want more of your products on PC... but we also want you to deliver what is advertised.
And if the weapons are as weak as they say, then those that are further in the game are in for a let down when they wont get the chance to use 'em when needed. Guess they should've included a weapon skin feature so one could swap the looks of owned weapons.
It is absolutely advertised falsely and I'm surprised that there is not more ruckus about this... The weapons are not the important feature of the slime edition content. It also includes 2 extra maps that give us access to bonus xp crafting recipes and materials. Even if they are 5% xp bonus, we can wear 3 of them on each character and that adds up to +60% xp per map.
These items are not available and the crafting materials to make them are not available as advertised on the official store page.
Steam would be obligated to grant a refund to anyone requesting one based on the advertised content being unavailable...
However, I don't want a refund... I just want the items advertised.
Please Steam. Tell SQUENIX to get their act together and give us our content AS ADVERTISED.
The slime covered map gives you access to a map that is the same terrain as the field in front of Calliburgh but with hundreds of slimes on it. They spawn more after you clear all the mobs out and eventually you can clear the map. It counts toward 100% completion and can be used to farm "Salt of the Earth" and "Sime Drop" items for crafting.
*On or Near Release Date Delivery. While we try our best to schedule delivery to arrive on the release date, actual delivery date may vary depending on your location and method of shipping. Orders received after September 28th, 2015 11:59pm PST will arrive after the Release Day.
This pertains to the physical collector's edition and day one editions of the game for the PS4. Perhaps they have a similar plan that is not displayed anywhere I have been able to track it down... With any luck we will get our stuff tomorrow...
Here's to hoping...
