All I know about the DLC, 1 character [Psaro] and alt version of costumes by completing boss fights.

All of the DLC that the Japanese version had are all included in the western release of the game, free of charge for the PS4 version. I'm sure it applies to the Steam version as well.

if you purchase the game you'll receive all DLC, the DLC are the same than PS4 version.

I don't think there's been any word on the DQ III costumes being included.

I don't know if the game will release costumes, I hope new DLC in the near future, but now just the DLC showing on the main DQ's page

There was special preorder bonus dlc that was on the PS4 version, it was a dlc costume resembling the protagonist from Dragon Quest 3. I missed it when I bought the PS4 version later as it's not for sale, it was a preorder extra only. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if we're getting all the dlc, including that special bonus costume?

Here's a link from Squeenix that shows pics of the costume and talks about how it was a preorder bonus. I see the slime weapons are listed on the Steam page, but nothing on that costume.

I want costumes! I saw a costume in the Squenix official video stuff, but no idea where or when the costumes will be available. Both the "preorder" and the "deluxe edition" items from the PS4 launch are included with the Steam version. I am unaware of any other DLC at this time.

I'm still hoping that the costumes will either be included and unannounced or may be unlocked through in game content. Here's to hoping.
