Save yourself the time and the money and visit its competitors. The concept is not implemented. I don't mean its implemented poorly, it just isn't. I do not recall if I have seen a single bot squad member earn a single kill as infantry, and I have been playing since well before this was ever on Steam. What do I mean?

The AI is more or less, just not implemented. Your soldiers will sort of follow you, but usually wander around in circles around you, jumping in and out of cover, but mostly just standing in open air refusing to shoot. They do not shoot. I don't understand why. Because of this, squads are wiped by one individual near instantly, as bots do NOT react to any game event at all, and will stand and slowly walk towards the enemy. Especially if they are in cover, they will immediately leave cover to be shot. It is the most baffling thing I have seen. I genuinely am of the opinion that there is no actual programming to the AI beyond a radius around the player they have to maneuver to. Thats it. I have never seen a single thing beyond this by your AI squad.

Can you at least manage it by commanding them? No. You can command them to stand still and use them as reserve respawns by hiding them, but this only works briefly until you leave a tight radius around them and they immediately run back to you. It doesn't matter if you want them to stay, you are not allowed. You can tell them to go to a capture point. They will go to the building and stand outside the wall, never entering the point.

Thats it. Thats your command. Thats what you can do.

Go play Easy Red 2. The concept is identical, but with everything unlocked from the beginning, and the AI actually exists.

Finally, this game is no longer under development. It is a barely held secret that the activities of their publisher and the incompetence of the development team has forced an unofficial shutdown of development, only selling premium reskins and uninteresting events centered around just the score you get in matches. Its usually 25,000 score every day for I think 30 days.

Sound fun? I don't think so either. You can see by my hours that I really, really tried. Don't try. Don't waste your money or your time. The only thing that keeps me from beating myself up about spending money on this game and playing it has been that maybe by my experience I can save someone else from this abomination.
