Help with killing Giant Scorpion
I have tried for hours with no sucess killing this bastard so if someone could provide a strategy of killing or getting past the giant scorpion in level "The Guardian of Time" would be appreciated....not sure if i'm supposed to do something first or if their's a kill spot? I got the jetpack and have tried killing him from the air but have been getting my ass kicked which is even worse trying to fight him on the ground with his surrounding minions. Also i have tied most of my weapons including the cannon but his health bar is barely dented.

There are piles of scaffolding poles lying around the map, they outline red from a distance. You'll want to stay airborne as often as you can, because being on the ground too long is a guaranteed death sentence. In between firing at the boss with the cannon, drop down, grab the poles and fly around him until you can get around his back. When you get close you'll see multiple red outlines where you can throw the poles at. A good time to stick him is when he's distracted fighting the Sand Whale. Lightning will intermittently strike the boss when the poles are stuck in him, dazing him and preventing his health from replenishing, that's your chance to finish him off!

Thanks Flight Lt. Sinbanda...used your strategy and killed him in about 10 minutes....don't know if i would have ever figured it out! This game was a blast as is the whole series, but in my opinion BFE is the best of the group with its excellent graphics, powerfull weapons and great pacing....it really challenges your trigger finger. The gore/dismembering and destructibility were just over the top. Will be starting Jewel of the Nile to satisfy my Serious Sam fix for now. I got both BFE and Jewel during the past Steam Xmas sale for $7.50 which was a pretty sweet deal. Thanks again

Yeah in the current game culture of disappointing AAA titles and shameful business practices, it's good to see that Croteam has stuck to its guns with Serious Sam! A little goes a long way with the gaming community.

I'd definitely recommend playing some deathmatch. It's hard finding a lot of good servers right now, but it's worth it!

I also recommend the stuff from its Steam Workshop, including my own SS3 Extended that merges the DLC levels with the original campaign, also improves some aspects of the game (also adds a few new secrets).
