If you have 2 monitors you can change to windowed version, set the split screen on vertical, pull the windows to the edge and use each display for each player.
This game is insane on multiplayer!

Thanks for the reply but I'm having performance issues during split-screen on campaign.
I'm running an
I5 2500k @ 3.3GHz
GTX 760 2gb
win 7 x64
8gb ram
The auto detect settings were set to ultra so I turned those down to high and I'm still having problems.
It's mostly the framerate. I'm not really sure how to explain it. During split-screen I get about 20-35 frames and if I stand still it goes to 45-60 (depending if I look away from a certain area), I've tried the lowest settings and ultra and there doesn't seem to be a difference. I know to some 30 frames is okay but it feels lower and really choppy which then becomes a pain to aim/shoot at enemies.
I use FRAPS but have also noticed you can turn on an fps meter on the in-game options. It's not exactly the same frames but it's not a big increase in FPS maybe around 5 frame increase?
I'll go on and get some accurate readings.
Is there anything I could do to boost framerate whilst keeping it a little pretty and comfortable on the eyeballs? ;-)
