Genuinely just a good experience

This game is probably the most visually unique and interesting RPG Maker game I've ever played. The story and writing are genuinely intriguing, and I really like how cynical the game can feel. The music isn't great, but that's not too big of a problem, because the ambient tones heard throughout really add to the surrealist atmosphere. The difficulty has some weird spikes however, since the game is incredibly easy for the most part, but has some specific battles where the difficulty just spikes for no reason. Not too big of a problem. Overall, I enjoyed my time with this game. 7/10. It's great, and definitely one to check out if you're into the RPG Maker niche.

Satisfying little game with an eye-grabbing pencil-drawn art style. The combat was pretty basic for RPGMaker standards, but the balancing was pretty good. Many of the boss fights were appropriately challenging, and felt good to bring down.

The anti-capitalist theming was nice, though it was never explored too deeply beyond the bleak art style. I enjoyed a lot of the humor, and I can tell the dev team was big fans of PAYDAY, with nods to Overkill studios, Hoxton, and a long, long wait for a thermal drill.

Solid game for a dollar - if you are a fan of weird RPGMaker projects, give this one a look.

I need to replay this game, but I'll write a review with the impression it has left on me thus far.

I first got Suits just because I was looking through RPGmaker games, and stumbled upon it. Whenever I saw The Batter from OFF of all things in it, I decided to go ahead and attempt to play through it all. It was a fun game with silly bits of humour sprinkled here and there. I made sure to talk to every NPC I saw, and I wasn't disappointed.

I'd say if you like games with a twist of humour, alongside other RPGmaker references and the such, you have nothing to lose. I'll replay this game again and update this review whenever I can so I can have a fresher take, but this game, from my memory, was charming.

Unfortunately not as captivating as any of the games it was inspired by :/

Boring anti-capitalist propaganda.

I think most people won't want to play this. So I'm gonna go through all the reasons you would actually want to play this game. The artstyle is really funky and the music is unique. You can check both of those out ahead of time to see if you enjoy them before going in.

The mechanics of the game are the weakest part of the game since I felt like I did basically the same thing for the entire game. The game makes up for that though with it's massive personality throughout the game. It's very goofy and also has an actual message about the systems in place. Plus even though the game is samey throughout, the runtime is short enough that it doesn't actually bug me.

One last thing is if you're playing this game as someone who wants to start making games, this game really shows you what you can do even if you aren't an artist. The art isn't super clean but I think it ends up feeling really atmospheric to the point where I think the art is the strongest part of the game.

Hopefully this applies to you and you like the game since it's cheap and genuinely worth the money.
