Party Members?

I've seen people talking about other party members but I have no idea how or when you get them. I just got the the part where you meet up with The Leader and everything before the Food District is gone. Every fight is boiling down to hoping the enemy misses frequently so I can heal and do damage every other turn. I've talked to every NPC I come across up to this point and no one has joined me. I can't see myself getting much further like this as the enemies are getting to strong to just tank through before I run out of healing items and money.

Jerome can only be recruited at the Office District. Meat Kid can be found in the factories. And you managed to hold that long with only The Guy?! Amazing! My first playthough of the game was in solo (I did not know you could have more party members) and I fail pretty bad. I was stuck at the Chief Justice boss. I'm not even sure it's possible to beat the game with only The Guy.

Where in the factory can I find Meat Kid?

EDIT: Nevermind I found him. Maybe now I won't be completely boned. Thanks for the reply. Hey for future palythroughs because I'm going to want to play this again with all the party members next time, where in the Office District is Jerome since I seemed to miss him?

Lol, same here. I made it through the whole game up to the Meat Factory until I recruited Meat Kid. I didn't know there was party members until then.

Jerome is at the 13th floor. He'll talk to The Guy and ask him to bring him back a certain item. This item can be found in the bike shop.

Wow...I'm almost done (I think) and I didn't even know about Meatkid!

I think I lucked out as found both on first playthrough. Are they any other members apart from these two?

As far as I know, the only party members are Jerome and Meat Kid. I ended up beating most of the game with only The Guy and didn't even get MEat Kid until the end because I passed him up and had to go back. If you don't get Jerome when he's available you will miss him and won't be able to go back and get him at a certain point.

You can obtain Meat Kid by giving him some Linguini which can be found in the large kitchen area through a pot on a stove. Though you have to fight someone to obtain it.
