The Oasis frog room is absolutely dreadful - here's how I did it without cheesing

I tried 10 times at least, probably 20 times. Hit my desk several times in reaction to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Tried several tactics - each one failing hard.

Finally, miraculously, I found the tactic. You just circle around in the middle of the room. Somehow this works and makes the frogs have a hard time hitting you and makes them accumulate in the middle.

Unfortunately, I found out about it by accident and managed to win the fight with it on the first try, so I cannot tell you how you should start off the fight: all I can say that eventually you should be circling around in the middle of the room with frogs jumping into it. With this tactic you will take almost no damage. Just be aware of your surrounding and shoot the frogs that are in your way.

I know what you mean, it is certainly hard for me as well since I am slow and I don't like moving around a lot. However, I found a reliable tactic which should work even better on Serious difficulty because there is more ammo there. Same as for the person having trouble in the spike room in the Valley of Jaguar level in TSE, I recorded this so that people can see:

I tried that and was swarmed very quickly. What difficulty is it and which version of the game? I have the true original from GoG, unfortunately it's a pretty rough version, it's barely a good experience, since the mouse doesn't work incredibly well, even with proper settings I feel like something is a little bit off.

This is a custom version known as the Serious Sam Classics patch on Github, but the Steam and GoG versions work the same in regards to the mouse. I did it on Normal, but Serious is the same here since I did not take damage and even easier since it has more ammo.

What I hate the most about this room is how people always seem to like to defend it, "it's not that hard" even if you're good the room just sucks, it's tedious, boring and very annoying because you lose like 10 minutes of your life for fault of frog RNG. Overall Oasis sucks ass. (Kleer skeleton hell, and what's that crap about spawning a Major mechanoid behind you by picking up a 1 HP pill?, BS)

What RNG? Did you see video? It can be considered boring and so on but I can find basis to consider almost the whole game to be like that. Overall they offer not much value for playing and especially replaying, the MP modes and modding are the things that make them shine.

It's not hard, but it is annoying, since it takes a long time to kill all the frogs, same with the final level...
