Taranis X9D USB doesn't work in Ubuntu 17.04

I followed the pre-calibration guide only to find that my FrSky X9D is already in the controllerconfigs.txt.

But when calibration in Liftoff it finds no stick movement.
Tried all 4 controller slots.

Any help would be appreciated!

I found the problem. I had recently re-installed Liftoff and in my previous install I had changed the launch parameters to another config filename. Removed that, and calibration worked.
