DJI RC 2 connection issues

Hello,
I am trying to get my DJI RC 2 controller to work with any sort of simulator before going manual mode IRL. I have been told by many sources it cannot be done, but Is see a lot of people saying liftoff will work.

I am not having any luck with liftoff or windows detecting my RC controller. It is connect via USB c to a to the computer, but windows does not detect it, even if i power on the goggles and FPV drone windows does not see a connection nor does lift off.

Is there a driver or special usb c to a cord I should be using? or is it true what the DJI guys are saying and no sim works with controller? much help is appreciated.

Hi

This controller won't work because the controller is not detected as an input device by the system. DJI has not made drivers available for it to make it work as such, so they're not supported in Liftoff, or other simulators.

You must use a cable with DATA TRANSFER. Most of the cables are charging only
