What is the best plug and play RC controller?
I have a devo 10 and 7 with no luck connecting. What do you suggest for a cheap plug and play via usb RC controller? THanks.

I've never used a Devo transmitter, only Taranis and Spektrum, but if you have a trainer/USB cable, we should be able to troubleshoot and get you online.

Im having no luck with my Spektrum DX6. Its recognising the inputs but the calibration doesny assign the right settings to the sticks.... yaw, instead or throttle etc.

Any suggestions?

On PC i fly with "Esky 4 Kanal USB-Flugsimulator-Set"
Its USB ready to plug and fly.

Its the best "kind-a-like-real-rc-controller" for pc.

I'm lacy and dont want to get my real rc out of the box on PC :D

Back in 2008, I picked up one of these Dynam USB controllers for around $8. They are essentially analog transmitters. No buttons, but has two switches that i've never figured out how to setup. It's mainly just the two gimbals and some trim swtiches. But they are plug-and-play with pretty much everything. never had an issue.

I still prefer my DX8 or Taranis, however, as I like to program in mixing and expo to make it feel more like my setup at home.

I think any of these USB controllers that are MEANT to be USB controllers, should work just fine.

I have used the Dynam as well as the E-Sky. I still have the E-Sky somewhere. They both work almost as easily as plugging up a USB mouse. It really is just plug and play.
okay thanks, I just wanted to make sure they work before I buy. So you've used the dynam/esky with lift off? (they seem to be the same controller) like the one i posted here:

Just try and wiggle the stick back and forth in the right direction when calibrating each stick. Press the set button for the throttle - wiggle the throttle up and down and then press next.

And in the first step make sure you center all of your sticks including the throttle before you begin. I have a DX8 and thought I was having issues similar to what you are having but can calibrate it correctly now.

I'm using the Interlink Elite by Futaba. It's awesome.
SOLVED:

well that was a complete waste of money. I installed SmartPropoPlus, plugged in Mono trainer cable to audio in, calibrated software, works like a charm on DEVO 7 and DEVO 10

I have got the same controller, but can't get it to work because I am not able to calibrate it. Did you have any issues?
