Is the PhoenixRC dongle supported?

I have a Spektrum DX8 and the USB dongle that came with PhoenixRC. It works great in Phoenix but I can't seem to get liftoff to recognize it at all. Is this dongle supported, or do I need something different?

So the answer, in case someone else comes across this, is no. The phoenix cable doesn't show up as a regular joystick in windows so unless they reverse engineer it it's probably never going to work.

I ended up getting one of the multi-sim usb adapters from ebay for less than $10, which works ok (assigning the axes took a bunch of tries but eventually took).

Additional info:
I use a Flysky i6S and i do NOT need any dongle, software or something like that.
A standard USB cable is enaugh to connect the fly controller to a (Windows 10) computer.
