Roll,Pitch and Yaw usable when throttle at 0
Maybe I'm wrong but for my 250 on CF, when a put the throttle at 0 , it fall like a stone... on the game I can continue to control the quad... for a more realistic sim, maybe add also some "turbulence" when the quad is near throttle 0 and cut the control when the quad is at 0

By the way, the game is good and promising !

Yeah its messed up, only an improperly set up quad loses authority at zero stick throw. While I is zeroed in current/old versions of cleanflight (and not betaflight) transfering that same behavihor over to this game is not needed. I shouldnt have to do all the endpoint workarounds on my tx to get liftoff to have full I authority at zero stick throw

If you lose control of your real-life quad at zero throttle, you likely need to adjust your min throttle speed or use an idle-up switch on your radio. At 0 throttle you want your motors to keep enough thrust to keep control but will also allow the quad to lose altitude.

We get mixed feedback on this, feedback we got from the pilots at ImmersionRC said you should still be able to have some controle at zero throttle. In real life this depends on your Flight Controller Settings, it's an option you can turn on or off, Liftoff doesn't have this option yet.

Like I and the other pilots said, you need to have authority at min stick throw. Its true one needs to set this up on their quad due to the PID controller impelementation, but its something that every one does. That nit about losing I at min throttle is not something that needs to be in the game. Esplically since most people dont even fully understand how pid_at_min_throttle works anyways

I have actually found this aspect of the sim extremely realistic, adjust your low throttle endpoint (min throttle) or use an idle up switch to maintain enough thrust to stay in control.

Anyone know how to make motors still spin when throttle at 0 so i can still yaw and roll on turnigy 9x acro mode, or on cc3d with librepilot? i can get my real 250quad act like quad in the sim. Thank you

you only need to increase your trottle somehow so it never fully stops the motors at zero trottle use one of the following

1. Trim trottle
2. Set min trottle higher
3. Setup idle up switch
4. Use cleanflight airmode or similar if available

The flight-controller settings (real-life) is airmode or "spin props when armed" wich means:
Props will spin when armed, even on ground. Every FC-Software has an other name for it.

In sim you can turn your quad on the ground by using pitch or roll without throttle, but props do not spin. So, in my opinion, liftoff should have the following:

1. airmode-switch (spin props when armed)
2. Props spin on throttle zero, only when airmode is on
3. No yaw, roll and pitch-reaction when airmode is off and throttle is zero.
