Which transmitter are you using? Most will likely have the trainer plug (3.5mm , S-Video, 5 pin DIN jack, 6 pin DIN jack, etc that matches your radio) and the other end will likely be USB.
Depending on the radio, a few tips:
-Make sure the transmitter is OFF before starting
-Plug up the USB end to the computer
-Plug up the trainer port end to your transmitter
-Allow Windows to download drivers
-Go to Control Panel, Devices and Printers. It should be under HID devices
If it's not there, go to "Device Manager" and see if there are any input/USB ports that have a Yellow Exclamation or Yellow Question mark next to them, indicating there is an error. If there is, right-click and try to re-download drivers.
It may help if we know what trainer cable you have, what transmitter you have, and what type of operating system you are using.
