Liftoff + Spektrum DX8

Hi, I've bought a dongle which has been recommended by a friend (and is working with his dx8 and liftoff)
my problem is when I select ps4 or xbox presets, it works but the channels are not in the good order. When I try to manual assign the channels, holy crap, the orange bars are blinking full orange and white and so on, 10times per second...
How can I make it working please ? I so much want to play this fabulous game =D

I have USB dongle and DX8 and have had troubles in the past but it works well now. You have to do a manual calibration. The first step of the calibration says before you start centre all your sticks. Make sure you do this INCLUDING THE THROTTLE. Then start the calibration and go through each step, first you have to make big circles with your sticks until it tells you it has completed, then you need to set each channel. As you click set on each channel like throttle move the stick back and forth in the correct direct for that channel, then click next to move to the next channel. One time I did the calibration some of the channels where reversed and to correct I had to actually do this in the DX8 settings, but after the last couple of updates I think all my channels are the default setttings.

To make liftoff to work with my DX8, I had to create two mixes.

First Mix
Rudder > Aux 2, Rate 100%, 100%, Offset 0%.

Second Mix
Throttle > Aux 1, Rate 100%, 100%, Offset 0%.

Now try and carry out the calibration and hopefully it will work for you too. :)

I have not had to mix any channels, but after yesterdays update when I calibrated my DX8 again the throttle and pitch were reversed so I had to reverse them on the radio. The behaviour of the calibration seems a bit different each time I do it. I wonder if the channel direction is dictated by the direction you first move the stick when you are setting each channel.

That is correct, move the stick as shown and it should be correct direction.

Probably labelled Gear or Flap by default.

workes with DX9 aswell, thnx allot!

Thank you so much for this info, this was exactly what I needed for my Spektrum DX6!

In my version it was:

YAW = GER (Gear was Aux2)
ALT = AX1

Hi, I am using my dx8 with smartpropoplus, through my audio board. It works, but I can't find the way to switch between flight modes.
I will try with a usb cable if it works better, but how do you switch to acro mode?

maybe you have to trigg multiple times the switch you assigned.
I know on my game i have to trigg the switch 2 or 3 times to allow the acro mode to be enabled
