How to play custom built map with friends?
Hi everyone,
My friend built a custom map and was trying to create a room to show me but the message that popped up when he click on his build was "track not shared."
Can anyone help me out with this?
Thank you!

Hi, to resolve this issue here, I'll paste the information in this thread as well:

Your friend who made the track should share the track on the Steam Workshop. He can do so from the Track Editor, where he can share the track immediately.

Note: if the intent is to race on this track, then the race should also be shared. This is done from the Race Editor (accessible from the Track Editor). So first share the track, then the race.

After he has shared the track (and race), then your friend can host a multiplayer game using his content. You and others are not required to subscribe to the contents, it should download them automatically and make it available to play for the duration of the multiplayer game.

Steam allows you to set content to be private on the Steam Workshop, or with friends-only. However, Liftoff doesn't have any friend system, or friends-only lobbies, so this would mean people can join that can't load that content and their game would not work properly.

So to use custom tracks and races in multiplayer, they need to be set to public on the Steam Workshop.
