stuck in ACRO mode
Switched from Level to acro mode, but now can't get it to return to level mode. I unchecked God radio button, but program will not return to level mode. Please advise.

I think the A button on the keyboard is the toggle for flight mode.

Reset game and start the level. Once it has loaded and you are ready for Liftoff press A for switch between LEVEL/ACRO and C for FPV noise or clean video.

Is there a way to change this with a Taranis switch?

if you have good pids you don't need level mode. Check the pids thread I gave my pids for this build and there are others too. :steamhappy:

I use an Interlink Elite USB radio (by Futaba, for RealFlight simulator), and I use the mode switch (the 3-position switch on top right of the radio) to switch flight modes in Liftoff. I make sure it is in position 2 (in the middle) when manually creating a profile to calibrate my controller. I just did this walkthrough in a live stream yesterday, just to archive the calibration process.

Make sure that The mode you are configuring is set to "mode 2", and when prompted to bind additional buttons, make sure to bind the mode switch to switch flight modes. This allows me to switch from self-level mode to/from acro mode by flipping the switch (even though I don't use self level).

For extra assurance, set modes 1 and 3 and make sure all of the optional keybinds are correct, to be able to switch back. I've never used a FrSky Taranis radio, but I'm assuming it has the same mode switch for changing flight modes, I would hope it would work, since my Interlink Elite is at least 10 years old now. The Taranis should be much newer than that, hopefully that helps.

so the last post here was from 2016. It's April 2018, just downloaded the software and I cannot find a means of assigning anything but the 4 primary channels. Is there a way to assign other channels for things like flight mode, OSD, etc? I want to keep my hands on the radio.

I suspect the issue is related to the hardware, note that you are using a remote of one brand a module of another on your specific PC setup. Likely the game does not recieve any input data.
