Liftoff FPV 1.5.0 came with a new tutorial. Have you tried to fly that? Liftoff Micro Drones doesn't have such a tutorial yet, working on that one. But the same principles apply.
Was able to practice enough to take out my real Cetus X for a few flights.
Now I just need to get a real drone hah
I started by flying in level / angle / horizon mode in the sim. Yes, that's training wheels, but it was still plenty hard. After I got pretty good at that, I changed to acro and relearned how to fly.
I still think this is the proper sequence. Trying to fly acro from the start is just too much.
I now own a physical 2" drone and fly it around the house in acro mode fairly well.
Just keep it simple and keep practicing and you *will* get there!
how did you connect your rc2 man?! please, my only hope!
I don't think he's actually referring to DJI's actual RC2 controller. That controller is not supported because it does not implement generic input drivers. Some refer to the DJI FPV v2 as the DJI RC2, but these are not the same device.
The DJI FPV v2 can be used, provided it has been paired with a DJI FPV or Avata drone setup. The DJI RC2 controller is not usable. There are open source initiatives to get this controller to work and behave like a normal input device, but it requires some tinkering: https://github.com/Matsemann/mDjiController
