Quad rolls forward when no stick input
Hi Guys,

Downloaded LiftOff, connectect tarranis.

Started flying and realise the quad would start rolling forward and then crash into the ground.
I have not changed any of the setup or doing anything with PIDS.

I though it may be a wrong tarranis calibration but it did not show that any forward input was going through on the blackbox like box. I re calibrated just for good measure - But no hope.

I use fpvfreerider all the time and no problems so I suspect something is wrong with the software.

Any ideas? I had high hopes for liftoff.

Did you recalibrate with the in-game utility or the one on your reciever? If you haven't, you need to use the in-game calibration. Make sure to read all the instructions and follow them carefully. Also look at the values displayed and change the in-game deadzone until there's no movement on them unless you move the sticks.

Here is a guide including a downloadable taranis model for LiftOff.

In game calibration, also had settings on quad which i had previously set up and run through that video to make sure nothing needed to be changed. I can see onscreen that the correct signal is getting to the sim. It mimics my stick commands perfectly.

By any chance playing on OS X? We know there is a problem when using a Taranis (or similar controller) that, at the start of a newly loaded scene, your drone may get arbitrary input values until you actually give each axis a bit of input again. So if you only touch the throttle control, your roll, pitch and yaw inputs will have some random value until you also give them a nudge. But as I said in the beginning, we're only aware of this on OS X. If you're on Windows, this may be a whole other issue.

Hi, I am using Windows 10 Home. Would you like me to post private video to show what is happening?

Also, I am using AMD10 with Radeon HD 2.10ghz
16GB Ram - 64bit. (If that helps)

Yes, a video might help in determining the issue. Thanks!
