The pids are fine on all levels of throttle except min throttle.
Tried the most used pids, and it worked like a charm.
Pitch [2] [2.2] [0.02]
Roll [1.8] [2.3] [0.02]
Yaw [1] [1.2] [0.02]
I always found liftoff hard to tune pids. Much easier on a real quad :-) How awesome would it be to get true blackbox-data so you can anlyze it
We recently wrote a blogpost about this:

Hotprops has this. Hotprops even has RaceFlight and BetaFlight "software" on board and it's free. I really want LiftOff to be the best Simulator especially since it comes with a price tag. The best sim doesn't need to have the most features. It just needs to feel the most realistic.
Also, components limited, outdated, missing specs. Props only come in a few very old flavours... etc. What's going on? This is feeling like Rust!
I might be completely off here since I've never flown a quad in acro mode IRL but I was under the impression that zero throttle meant (close to) zero control?
Example, when my quad is on the ground in Liftoff, and I only move the pitch/roll stick, the motors start to spin and the quad drifts/flips. I'm using a Fs-i6 and stock PIDs.
I guess what I'm really asking is: In real life, would the motors start to spin when moving the pitch/roll-stick even if the throttle was at 0%..?
