There's no DJI AVATA frame available in Liftoff, only their DJI FPV setup. We're also not aware of the Motion Controller working with other software other than DJI's own eco system. You can try whether the controller is picked up by your system as a game controller using this web tool ( https://gamepad-tester.com/ ). If it isn't picked up there, it won't work in Liftoff either.
Thanks for your message :)
Do you plan to develope a frame even for DJI AVATA?
There are no plans currently. We'd love to have it eventually, but there are no ongoing talks with DJI atm.
Any updates? I would really like to practice flying the Avata with the FPV Remote Controller 2, which already works fine with Liftoff. The Motion Controller is not really needed, I think there are not many people actually flying the Avata with anything else than the FPV controller, so it's just the Avata physics model.
As this question continues to arise, we’d like to offer a final answer: we are not currently exploring the addition of the Avata or Avata 2 to Liftoff. If that ever changes, though it's unlikely, you'll be the first to know when there’s something new to share.
