i just bought the tinyhawk 2 freestyle, it is my first ever fpv drone.i am able to fly around decent in acro with an xbox controller. was able to get my time in the low minute 30s on the biggest on yet ( the race track) will i be able to take what i learn on an xbox controller and be able to fly my tainyhawk?

In my opinion flying with a xbox controller is actually way harder than with a normal transmitter because your stick resolution and precision is way better on a transmitter.

Thanks for the reply, is it wishful thinking to think I will be able to put my tinyhawk in acro and zip around an open field? Like I said I’m making good times in acro mode on some tracks with an Xbox controller.

Sounds like you got the understanding of coordinated turns, so you should be good for your first flight on an open field.
If i´m not mistaken, you can use the tinyhawk transmitter for the simulator. Just for good sake, spend an hour with the tinyhawk transmitter in the sim, before going out irl :)

this was acctually a big reason i went with the tiny hawk over the geprc tinygo. they say everything about the tiny go is better, but you couldnt pair the controller to the sim. and thank you, i probably would have just taken it out of the box and try to fly it so thanks for the tip.

The tinyhawk is great as a first quad ! :) You´ll definately enjoy it..
Don´t fly Liftoff with your xbox controller anymore. Use the transmitter from the tinyhawk, and you´ll have better throttle control, as it doesn´t center like the xbox controller. :)

do you think it would be benificial to use an xobox controller until my tinyhawk comes in?

Oh yea sure.. If you don´t have it yet, keep using your xbox controller :) But when you get it, use the tinyhawk transmitter instead. :)
