Statistiche:

Erm, no. You are given the ability of getting rewards for killing lots of enemies, but sucking them all into the player at the end of the map, would likely crash the game for many people. Also, stop being lazy. Roll damnit, roll.
I agree with you. Games are becoming more about running around grabbing items then actually playing. In most games it's because there is so little content nowadays that they use that for padding....but EDF already has so much i don't see the point of having to roll around grabbing crates for most of your play time.
It does kinda suck that you have to spend so much time collecting everything, but I guess that the game is designed more around the multiplayer this time around since the Wing Divers and Fencers can go around the map extremely fast and collect everything for everyone else.
I like it the way it is. As a ranger or air raider, you just liquidate everything and let fencers and wing divers worry about the pickups.
I think it's fine. I like the risk and strategy to collect items. Farm an underground tunnel level if you want an easy way to collect tons of items without runing around.
I get the frustration OP, but I'm going to have to disagree. Part of the challenge in this game to me is the difficulty, and another part is having to actually weigh my decisions. Sure, I can cheese a level by sniping enemies from so far off that they don't stand a chance, but then I have to go over there to check the loot. Is it worth it?

I like the balance there, It makes me less likely to cheese everything
Here's a tip: Don't play the game with the sole intention of getting pickups.

Just play normally and if a pickup happens to be next to you, then get it. Or if there is a long break in combat, then go and seek some out.

If you keep beating missions then spending 10 minutes going over the whole map just for pickups, you'll bore yourself. If you just play normally you will find your armour will accrue over time and you'll get weapons/completion at a faster rate. Picking up 90% of every armour and weapon on maps like Brute Force and Inferno is just OCD. You don't need to be doing that to progress.

This is especially so when you play online. Just play normally online because other players are going to be grabbing items near them too, which also count for your player, meaning you'll get at least 3x the amount per mission (depending)

Well tbh, the current loot system force people to farm on certain mission (27,50,81 over and over) instead of just run every mission normally. The hardest part of the loot farm is to obtain enough armor for higher difficulty, since you need minimum of 1,5k armor to survive onslaught on inferno.

This is the main reason why my ranger run inferno mission on 600 Armor, not because i want a challenge, but more like because it is so damn hard for me to collect all of those crate, especially when doing online mission w.o anyone picking fencer/ wing diver

Sounds like you've only done Normal/Easy offline if you only have 600. If you do Normal, Hard and Hardest Online you should have AT LEAST 2500 hp for Ranger. I haven't farmed at all and I'm on 1900 with Ranger (100% Easy, 40% Normal, 50% Hard)
I think its gonna be a lot easier if you aim to farm in an MP run on normal or something when their are 4 people or so around I can imagine it takes a load of stress off the pickups problems.

Make sense you got 1900 since you mostly spend your time on easy diff, my "easiest" difficulty on the other hand is "hard", and i mostly run on hardest and inferno diff.

Btw, my Fencer has 2k Armor

It' not difficult to roll around collecting things, it's tedious. Unecessarily tedious.
I'm with the OP on this one. I don't think 70% of loot drops left on the ground is asking too much.
Love playing the game, hate rolling around collecting loot. It's like slamming on the breaks at the end of a rollercoaster and driving 1 mile an hour till it stops and you can get back on for another go.

There's your problem right there, jumping straight into the insane difficulties and expecting Normal/Hard levels of HP to get you through it.

By the time I start focussing properly on Inferno my Fencer has about 4.5k. I mean, it's easy to do something like Blue Fighters on Inferno, but good luck with Scorching, Waterside Bugs, or even Charge Phase 3.
I think the solution would be to automatically reward all of the boxes if the mission is won. If a mission is lost, any collected boxes are retained.
