Left Right Left Right ad infinitum, OR Right Left Right Left == Quick Infinite
Then there's the Slow Infinite which is basically a guaranteed knockdown
You start it by going
Left Left Right or Right Right Left
Then you proceed into the typical Left Right Left Right ad infinitum or the Right Left Right Left ad infinitum.
I only recommend the heavy ones when you're close enough to continue a Quick combo and have the guarantee of landing every hit. You WILL knock down Erginus with the Slow combo. Quick combo merely staggers it.
I LOVED Chromehounds i really wish From would make another one for PC. Chromehounds was an amazing game. Most other mech games are very fast paced and you cant customize like you can in CH.
I had about 15 mechs i used from a quick hover with a tiny machine gun and four spike rods. I would sneak in hit the base able to take them out quickly. It was also fun to spike a mechs cockpit killing something that would shot me once and i would be gone and taking it out first.
I had many command mechs to tell people where everyone was one loaded with sniper rifles taking out mechs from miles away. Others full of missiles or guns so when i spotted someone i could destroy them before they noticed.
The game was wonderfully paced and when you saw someone else you always felt nervous knowing that either of you could lose in seconds.
It was the best mech game i ever played. It made you work as a team it had so many weapons parts and designs you could make.
