I wish that was the case, but I have 16GB of ram and when its all being taken up even when the game is closed it gets frustrating.
Have 16 too, doesn't seem to crash completely. I thought I had it bad. I searched so long to find other people with this issues. Your the first person I have seen.
Tldr: there is definitely a memory leak issue with the game currently.
Ram map, thats the program I used to use and couldnt remember. Its not removable in the windows task manager. Thanks for that.
I'll keep an eye on this thread in case solution becomes available
RAMMap is Microsoft Approved tool though .... XD
The equip screen is screwed, but the OS should reclaim any memory used by the game when the process ends. However, I've seen a lot of people mention high memory usage on windows 10 for various reasons. Sometimes due to how it naturally handles memory, sometimes driver issues causing a leak.
I opened rammap and all I saw from edf was a bunch of zombie processes. One from what I'm assuming is everytime I've launched the game since i rebooted my computer. They only took up ~20kb? each so It shouldn't be an issue. Restarting Steam got rid of them.
