To be fair, EDF is kind of known for it's budget gameplay and general campiness. It's not difficult to see how some people would be completely turned off by it.
I agree that is true. Even with games that are considered AAA or a movie that has a budget of hundreds of millions, there are people who complain to the high heavens that it's the worst thing ever. I'm sorry, but people like that make me roll my eyes. Granted, I understand they have a right to do that, but at some point it becomes nauseating to hear all the time.
I for one remember how good EDF 2017 was. Screaming with friends when you're soooo close to completing a level, only to get overwhelmed. ;p
From the reviews on this game, I'll buy it no matter what price tag they put on it. lol
