Mmm, I play esclusively singleplayer, do you know if there is a way to achieve all of the weapons? like cheating, changing the ini or whatever?

Thanks fellow bugsmashers

that's the only method.

you shouldn't be cheating your unlocks anyway - half the fun of the game is unlocking all the weapons for each class.
I hear you get good special guns for beating all missions per difficulty. Per class too maybe?

you don't get anything special for beating all missions on a specific difficulty as any class.

the drop quality is based on two things - difficulty, and the number of the mission. the higher the mission on the list, and the higher the difficulty, the better your chances of getting good stuff. there are caps here too, though.

for example, you could never get rule of god (level 95) or a buffalo wide (level 90) from inferno - crimson because it's too low of a mission level.

Huh, weird, I heard you get some good stuff for doing all difficulties on a class or whatnot.
Best i've got is a Level 82 Cascade Iota.

I'm too used to being so strong with Ranger, I haven't played Wing Diver ONCE

I'm farming mission 2 on inferno, do you guys know some other good missions?

I'm a ranger at 750-ish armor, I'm doing mission 2 principally because no melee, but I realize I'm not getting anything spectacular.

At mission 64 on normal

Beat the game on Normal first, I'd suggest.

Partied with people? Crimson mission on inferno with someone as a Fencer or Wing Diver, and 1-2 Air Raiders. The Fencer/Diver should be someone who knows what they're doing. The Air Raiders should have Satellite Cs or Charon Bomber Ds. A Laser Fort Balaam at least. They can deploy three, and they'll easily afford it before the 3rd part of the mission if they do it ASAP.

Drop Laser Fort Balaams after dealing with the first Red Ant wave at the start.
Drop Balaams ASAP, and when in them (the fencer/diver should be experienced and know how to not die) face directly down and spam punches. You'll manage the mission with those alone, keep an Ant alive and on a Balaam (it'll do minimal damage to it, giving the others plenty of time to pick up gear), most items I got on there were 40-60s. I even got the Laser Fort Balaam for my own Air Raider that way.

Solo? Mission 14, on inferno, run the heck away at the start and let the EDF NPCs deal with the drones. After that, rockets or whatever your 'will actually hit long range' stuff is to snipe the big ol' bots. When 1-2 are left, go clean up.

I like to play the normal mode with overpowered weapons :)

I recommend a Cascade or Volcano or any of the accurate rockets for the range. You REALLY want range on Inferno, as you will get utterly buttblasted if you get aggro from everything.

Missile launchers are fine too, but they're slower on the damage.

This was the case in earlier entries in the series: EDF2017, and Global Defence Force / EDF2.

Late reply, but you could also try cheat engine. The weapon boxes you collect are counted as 4-byte (it could also be float or double I forgot, use All to be safe). Collect a few and scan for the exact number you collected, you should end up with one address. Change the value to about 10k. After the mission at the results screen you see the whole bunch of weapons you obtained.

Of course, the stronger weapons will only appear on higher difficulty. But this will allow you to get some useful low level weapons to tackle higher difficulties, and with infinite ammo you can increase your survival to complete a mission to get those high level weapons. Good hunting.

I have been told that achieving seventy percent (70%) completion will cause the game to give you access to every gun in the game and the option of having infinite armour, but I have not been able to confirm this myself. Of course, this isn't much help to someone who's having trouble with the game to begin with.

Completing 70% only gives you the ability to disable armor and weapon limits in lower difficulties (easy, normal , hard, hardest) so you can play on easy level mission using your max armor and high lv weapons...

So it doesn't mean that you can use the top-tier guns without having to grind for them? Aww... :steamsad:
