-Chapter One-
DON'T
-End-
Being the game's strongest vehicle that can also fly infinitely, it needed at least a skill barrier to balance it out.
you can't be a good Air Raider without learning how to use Bazelart
"LOOK! IT'S THE WINGSDIVERS THE GIANT INSECTS CAN'T FLY. THIS WILL BE A ONE SIDED BATTLE!" said by some infantry force npc on mission 3, seriously it's best advice the npc give you in entire game and sandlot does you a big favor by telling you it in beginning of game. I have proof that it indeed does make for one sided battles in one of hardest stages in the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQ40NAn6cu4
just practice, every helicopter handles a little differently
That was cool to see. I knew about dealing enough damage to nests to chain together the animations for it 'falling apart' causing them to not spawn as I've done that many times on solo 'Tower' (or whatever the mission is) but the only weapons I've made it work with are the WDs Rapiers.
The problem after was always dealing with the stupid number of white spiders and gold ants (its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ struggle even on Hard with limits removed!).
Very good strategy but I'd say its about as far from highlighting the potential of mastering the helicopter as you can get. Most of it was just slow hovering and moving backwards which anyone can do. You just need the teammates to work with it.
That guide is very informative. I haven't used helicopters a massive amount so sometimes the inability to descend on cue really gets annoying. I guess that comes with having a better grasp on how far up you'll go in the first place...
... I'm glad you can see it that way xD, because I perfectly designed that strategy to work without crazy control movement and for people with low armor. It's not meant to showoff crazy maneuvering skills at all. In fact at the time when I was doing it I had been trying to make it work with my friend nakadaitoshiro now ex-girlfriend who had 0 experience with the game.
EDF!! EDF!! EDF!!
