Fortress siege: how do you beat it??

I just cant seem to kill hectors fast enough to keep them from overrunning me.

Oh fortress siege is number 16. I'm assuming you're playing normal difficulty in which case you're likely to have around 250HP and no more than level 5 weapons

If you have the level 4 Stringer, the Hectors tend to walk in a line and you can shoot through all of them. Killing one hector with it may take time, but killing 5 of them at once will make it feel a lot quicker. Get as much distance between you and fortress as you're able to, and take cover behind buildings or rubble.

Farm the previous mission until you get the AF14 ST.

I did mission 2 so many times when started. Played inferno too. Got killed in mission 1 hah
