How to speed up armor gain?
Hello there community. Do you know of any ways to seriously cut down on time spend farming armor crates?
I own that game for PS4 for couch co-op and now got it as well for PC to play it online with Steam friends. I've got 320h on the PS4 version with all classes at 20k+ HP, the WD actually at 32k and almost 140h on Steam with the Fencer at 20k+ and the WD at 10k.

I want to play Inferno difficulty with my buddies because we do like the challenge and want to use the fancy high lvl weaponry, but I do NOT see the armor grind as anything fun about the game seeing that I used up around 350h doing that exclusively (Shifting mountains, yes I know where and how to farm with 2 chars) and frankly I think my PS4 was on the verge of malfunctioning because of running for several hours a day, every day.

I don't want to use a trainer for infinite HP, ammo and flight energy, nor do I want to unlock every weapon in one go (although I do like the idea of the Nova cluster for the WD :x ) but a way to bump up my (and my friends) armor levels to around 20k for each class without spending days on days staring up the sky sitting on an anthill and stroking the underbelly of giant spiders emerging on top of me with a Rapier, Flamethrower, or Jackhammer would be really appreciated :/

Thanks for hearing me out ^^

Shifting Mountain is the fastest way. if you want to be effective in higher difficulties, you gotta put in the work

Thanks, I never heard this level mentioned before.
A half hour afk with the flame geyser netted me 279 armour.

Plug in a controller, start the game in 2 player mode, farm Shifting Mountain on Easy.

If both "players" are the same class, it takes half the usual armor to gain a point. Two ingame rangers only need 1 armor box for 1 hp instead of 2, Wing Diver only needs 2 instead of 4, etc.

If you do it right you get up to 800 crates in 1h. Take the first Silver Spider anthill for that, it has 1 more Spider per spawn than the other anthill.

It still takes 100h to get all 4 classes to ~ 15k HP and I don't want that again u.u

That's the fastest method available without cheating.

Yup, a good chunk of that was me trying to find a spot where I didn't roast myself and all the crates fell onto my face. I should probably just pick magma cannon and aim it straight up tbh.

So yeah, how do I cheat then? :p seriously I just want a bit more armor since I "put in the work" already on my PS4 game and don't want to do it all over on my Steam file :p Don't want to use a trainer for infinite HP and stuff like I said in my OP. Just something that can give me easily 20k HP :/

Me 100hr in edf : yeah 1000 armor , stomped by erginus then died

The difference is, if you always die in 1 hit, or at least can take a bit of beating :p surely you can win the entire game with no armor crate picked up, but I'm not that good :x

5k is a great amount of health for a class to tackle inferno (2,5k for wing diver) offline. In online mode you must compensate with good teamwork and weapon synergy.

Take in mind some mission on solo will be almost impossible for certain classes no matter what.
