Auto-Forward?

The options menu of the game says that there is an auto-read option but I can't find the keyboard key or method that activates it. Does anyone know what to do or if it's even possible to get it to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's to skip dialogue, isn't it? Is there a way to progress the story without pressing space/enter/left mouse clicking every line? Thank you for your reply regardless.

Oh, sorry. I thought that was what you meant. I think the auto forward slider might just be standard for RenPy games and has no effect in Brilliant Shadows. I might be wrong though.

Auto-Forward is a standard setting for Ren'Py, but it is unfortunately hard to set up with games that have voice acting, as not all lines are voiced at the same speed.

A note has been made about this pertaining to Pale Spectrum! Sorry for the confusion.
