MY GAME CRASHES AT THE LAST LAP OF THE RACE.

(sorry for captions) Racing mission is the most anoying mission to beat. But when I finaly do so, as soon as i cross the line to enter the 5th lap game just crashes. Pls help, this game is amazing but I cant get through it.

I find the racing mission pretty easy. Maneuver to the lead early, then just slow down for two corners on the circuit and easy on the steering - use analogue input for sure. As for the crash, are you using any of the mods suggested in the guides, like the music restoration one or a graphics enhancement? I found I reliably had crashes at certain places using those kinds of mods but I could work around by reverting to the default installation (maybe with widescreen fix or something but nothing else) just until I get to the next savepoint. To keep things quick and simple I just kept a copy of the entire game folder in a backup subdirectory and extracted mods files in a directory, then when I needed to restore default I just deleted all files (except the backup) and restored from the backup, then copied the extracted files back in again as needed.

Anyway, I think your crash has something to do with a song that's meant to play at that part in the original.

Try to lock your fps to 63, which is a default value.
