How to install the mods?

Since it's free now, how do I install the community modpack v. 2.1? I don't want to create an account on Nexus or something like that, I found this:

Alright so, Modpack you have to install in the Steam directory of the game. It's Program Files x86/Steamapps/Common/Mafia/Mafia (it has 2 directories for some reason), you just extract the modpack into there, and install it straight into. Don't forget to set it you want to install it into Steam version in the setup, then you can pick up anything extra you want (I'd recommend getting the deleted music aswell).

Community Modpack is an absolute gamechanger - I do recommend vanilla first but the amount of fixes and improvements in that, makes it feel like a totally new experience. Draw distances look particularly good along with the enhanced textures

It was a stylish game considering it's 20 years old. But pretty slow cars compared to, say, GTA.

Got stuck at "Great Deal"-mission because of crash. Very, very difficult shooting mechanics too. Saw a speedrun, though, great story. Thanks, Steam, for the free game.

Wondering if the new games are better.
