Mafia
Mafia Setup doesn't allow changing the Graphics Display adapter or video card
Hey all,

I got a gaming laptop with a GTX 1050 with 4GB in my laptop. However, the setup always defaults to the Intel HD graphics adapter overriding the general settings that has the GTX as primary graphics adapter, making the whole experience pretty terrible.

Do you know where exactly the .ini file is so I can manually override the settings I want for Mafia?

Thanks beforehand,

The simple answer is because Mafia's settings Setup recognizes your laptop's default GPU and will run using the selected GPU thus the game is not Optimus-friendly.

If you still want Mafia to run with the discrete GeForce GPU, it's best that you use DDU to clean up the drivers for the Intel GPU. Next, disconnect your laptop from any Internet connection so it won't auto-update back to "Intel HD 4600 Graphics" again and disable the Intel GPU when it turns into "Microsoft Basic display adaptor" or something similar in Device Manager.

DDU:http://www.wagnardmobile.com/?q=display-driver-uninstaller-ddu- This is a advanced but simple program to use, if you still don't know how to use it then ask someone who's better with computers to help you in using DDU.
