why do the cheats not work in this game? shift and ~ key doesnt work.

Put -console at launch options and give it a try. Maybe it will work this way.

You don't need to open any dialogue windows or go to consoles. Simply type the cheatcode when you're in the game. It'll take effect immediately after you type it.

I've got the CD-ROM version of Mafia and it's version 1.2. However, I don't want to use the trainer I've got from the Internet because it crashes the game after a few levels.

So I wanna know, does that work with the shortcut command line for the CD-ROM version of this game?

You must run mafia through ,,Mafia Con,,. If it still not working you must download mafia con for 64 bit system. I got one if you want, write to me. :-)

municak- unlimited ammo after reload
krefjeyivot: From 50 HP you get 100 HP (only once or after loading screen)

you can just type it in-game... at least for the retail version

None of this works in Steam.

* -console added to the launch options does not enable the console.
* SHIFT + ` does not open the console in the game.
* Typing any code with no text area to type it into only jumps the character around etc.
