Мультиплеер существовал и с наименованием "Lost Heaven Multiplayer", в начале февраля 2017 года его прикрыли, даже официальный сайт не доступен.

Well after years of modding mafia i've decided to make modification wich allows you to play mafia in 2 players ( for now).
Modification is currently playable but needs lots of fixes, current date of release is end of december for now and it could be changed in any time.

Contact:
For now we dont have any social networks that will be changed to the end of december. So for now if you have any question you can write to me.

How it works:
Modification works like that. You have main player wich is hosting client ( Mafia) to internet, and second player wich is playing game trough he's browser, yes you hear right browser. He can play as 2 player and he can do 90% as main one. There are few limitation 2 player can go only to the max distance of rendering, then world won't be rendered. And second big limitation is your internet connection wich needs to be pretty good because coop is based on streaming via MPEG1 codec.

Есть проект mafia connected, играет не много людей, но ближе к вечеру онлайн достигает пару чоловек. Это "рп сервер". Реализация неплохая, но есть проблемы с оптимизацией. У них есть дискорд-сервер
