How to fix Mafia stuttering

1. Download DX8 to DX9 converter, here: http://enbdev.com/download_convertor_dx8todx9.htm
2. Excract folder and copy files to Steam - SteamLibrary - steamapps - common - mafia - mafia.
There are two mafia folders and its important to copy files to other.
3. After files are copied put vsync and triple buffer on mafia laucher and youre good to go. :)

Not sure if you posted this before, but i advise using this d3d8 to dx9 converter iinstead. Its still updated to this day unlike boris' which was made years ago

or just go to reshade website and click d3d9 converter button in top right corner

(and this converter only has one file not multiple like boris')

and don't use vsync/triple buffer on mafia launcher instead turn them both to off and enable vsync/triple buffering through nvidia control panel.

Follow my steps and i guarantee you it will be a lot smoother than what you are experiencing now

Game is smooth by using in game vsync + triple buffering + if you have rivatuner fps limiter to 60 and it smoothes frames to be 60fps 16,7ms. And also i dont have nvidia.

I have a problem with video setting ingame, every time i have to set it to max detalis, can you help me?

My game doenst want to start with dedicated video card. Because of that i have stable 60 fps but gameplay is not smooth. Tried everything and still nothing. Didnt have this problem while i was using windows 7.

Im using a laptop and the game forces me to use the integrated graphics card (not the dedicated nvidia one)

Mafia still for some reason stutters or actually frame skips often.
