i swear this game rng is killing me. the bonus point roll is probably done something like
roll a die ( 0,0,0,0,1,1) like 30x and add together your results. this is why you are constantly getting min roll lol.

I could never figure out how to use cheat engine. The tutorial was extreemly unhelpful since it didn't tell me what to do or how to do anything, it just said "do this!"

It's fairly straightforward.

1) Boot your game.
2) Boot Cheat Engine
3) File -> Open Process -> Stranger Of Sword City.exe
4) Set the drop down box for "value type" to 2 bytes.
5) Character creation screen ingame, look at how many bonus points you have. Say you rolled a disappointing 6.
6) Input your number of bonus points in the value box and press "first scan".
7) Ingame, spend a point - you now have 5 points remaining.
8) In CE - update your value to reflect the change and press "next scan" - there should be significantly less values remaining.
9) Repeat stept 7 and 8 till you have only 1 value remaining. Doubleclick this value to move it to your saved addresses in the bottom. There, right click it and select "edit value".
Here, set it to whatever value worth of bonus points you desire.

And done. That's it.
