Under the compatibility tab > Disable display scaling on high DPI settings
i tried command line things but none work coz im guessing it isnt a source game, wahtever that means, so im stuck, i have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, but it just wont work again. even after deleting local content i deleted everything remaining in the file, and nothing helped, like the setting are now saved outside of the folder, and i cant find them
Disable display scaling on high DPI settings and Run in 640 x 480 resolution which has now fixed the problem, many thanks.
Disabling display scaling did solve the issue for me however. The game wanted to default to a 4K resolution since I have super scaling enabled, but without it scaling to fit my monitor it was impossible to see more than the corner of the screen.
And of course because you cannot change the resolution for fullscreen until you go into fullscreen... fun times.
Regardless, disabling super scaling in GPU drivers or display scaling on the .exe file should help resolve the issue.
