But yes, the squads, the story (especially the "extra" that you can get on new game plus), all of the combinations to form either stable or highly specialized squads...
That game uses a Tactical Rpg system as its core, but is different enough from mostly all other titles, making it very enjoyable on its own too.
I gonna miss Asagi as always.
->Um, you?
You better believe it! The one, the only! Indestructible... Soul Nomad!
I singlehandedly baught Disgaea D2 for Gig and cried for days when I realized I missed Gig in Dark Hero Days (godamn you limited and buggy ass JP only DLC).
but boooooy oh boy, I would really love to see a Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman pc port now that game had sooo much replay value even more so than Soul Nomad: World Eaters. (Granted Soul got me 400+ hours on ps2 and Z.H.P I think I played even longer because it was on psp).
Of course my Love for Gig and Z.H.P is pretty biased but doooo it! Port Z.H.P And Soul Nomad!
Yuri Lowenthal as Gig is without a doubt his best work. Whoever chose him for that and whoever directed that game's voice acting did an absolutely fantastic job.
I can agree, Phantom Brave and Soul Nomad are both amazing NIS games that aren't Disgaea. Both are seriously in my top 5 games list.
