Game broken here, start menu rotates between items
I downloaded the demo.

When I launch the game, the arrow pointing to the selected menu item keeps moving up continiously.

Any ideas what is wrong?

have you tried the game after unpluging every controler/non vital USB stuff on your computer first ?

So it is ok with xbox360 controller unplugged, the problem is I want to play with a controller :)

ok it now works with controller plugged in again, thanks. :)

seems still bugged, the first cut scene all the talk was skipped and battle tutorial was also skipping everything as if some skip button was been pressed or held down.

So I guess this game buggy with a controller?

ok it isnt the controller, I am playing in windowed mode, it seems its ok at first but if I click on somethign else like the steam app, and then later click on the game again so its in focus, the controls are all broken like something is been held down. So not multitasking friendl. :(

Text skipping is most likely caused by the B key of the controller (or the corresponding key of the keyboard) sending its signal, just like your constant "up" was probably due to the stick not initializing correctly.

I personally play with a controller, in borderless window mode (looks like full screen but can alt tab without breaking games), and I am not getting those problems, so my guess is going towards one potential thing right now.

When you alt tab and/or when you tab back in, do you have your controler and keyboard at a neutral position (no key pressed asside from the ones for changing windows)?
From my experience, controlers tend to send weird inputs if you switch in/out of a game while a button is pressed or a stick is not at the default position.
Not sure if it applies to this game, but it did for a lot of older games, so that's one thing to check.

nothing is been pressed, I am not even alt-tabbing but merely instead clicking on another window.

this happens to me sometimes as well, solution is simple... the game thinks that one of the key is pressed (or maybe wrong signal from the controller) and you have to "unpress" that key... so if cursor cycles in the main menu, you just press W or S and it should stop.... sometimes the camera starts rotating which means that you have to press Q or E to stop it

ok will try that, if it works great.

I had the same problem with this and some RPGMaker games, too. I fixed it by disconnecting all bluetooth devices from my computer. Not sure why, but hooking up a Wiimote to my computer does this to a handful of random games.
