Does this version have the weapon fusion exploit?
I remember there was a way in the ps2 version to cheese the weapons by making crappy weapons and then fusing them or something and in the end it would end up as an ubber powerfull weapon without having to fuse all the weapons and spend lots of mana.
Does it still work in this version? i remember that kind of ruined it for me back then

If you mean applying the failure title on the weapon you want to power up, a strong title (that you will lose) on the other that has high stats and fusing them like that before putting back a good title on the weapon then it still works.

In order for it to turn ubber powerful though, you first need to find a very high stats item to fuse into whatever you want to make strong as well as fuse it with other things to increase the equip% so it's still quite a bit of work and it doesn't turn out as a game-ending weapon unless you used an item with similarly high stats for the fusion in the first place.

I remember i was playing normally like any disgaea game, grinding and all to level up in the post game but then i found about it and basically in a matter of seconds made a sword that would 1 hit kill everything. After that and knowing you could cheese it so easily it kind of took away the merit of grinding and all. it completely broke the balance for me back then.
Ill see, maybe ill just have to restrain myself from using it.

Failure titled dungeons help too because while the enemies are weak if you had bottle mails packed up they could easily get in and take the weapons with them when their time was up. They specifically get weapons far easier than any other character upon dissipating.
