Questions about knighting the girls, save files and the endings.

Hey there. So I'm approaching the end of my playthrough, having just reached Purgatory.

Since I played Criminal Girls 2 months ago and that had a lot of backup-making to get the different endings, I knew I should read a guide for this game's as well.

The guides urge you to make a save backup before you knight any of the girls, so that you can pick one of them, complete her last Girl's Wish and get her ending, then load the backup and repeat it with the next one, etc.

However, when going for what I suppose is the true ending, I've read that all the girls will get knighted at once anyway, via some special items. If so, what's stopping me from just waiting until that? Maybe it's impossible to get the individual girl endings at this point, hence why you need to do it earlier?

I'm pretty confused on this point and I'd like to avoid doing anything redundant if I can help it.

The true ending isn't unlocked until you do a button combo during the credits if I recall.

For the different endings, I believe if all of the girls are knighted, it won't trigger specific endings with a particular girl. I sorta skipped on that since there's only a couple girls I personally care about anyway, but there are triggers that do occur I believe when getting different endings.
