i also have to point out that this is the only game in the series not made by the 2 guys that started it all....this game was built with unused assets from the first game.....the whole series was going to be about how societies suppress people to be what they are....rapture was driven by unchecked advancements for profit and Bioshock Infinite showed how religion would suppress its people.....they never really got to finish the series like they wanted
Lamb uses the appearance of altruism as a shield so she can pretend she's different, pretending that she's not egocentric because technically Eleanor is the focus of the movement. Except Lamb is 100% living vicariously through her. Lamb is so high off of her own self-righteous fumes that she can barely see anything in front of her.
yup....did you see the structure of a cult in all of it?? even down to fighting the priest??
The problem I have is she's going "How dare you interfere with my plan" as though we physically have any other choice BESIDES "interfere with her damn plan". Like she's going the whole game acting like we've got a choice in the matter when I'm sitting here thinking "Lady, if I do not get within like five feet of Eleanor within 24 hours I will go into a coma and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ die, what do you want me to do?"
She treats our whole rampage through rapture as some sort of intentional act of sabotaging her plan, yet she of all people should know that we literally have no greater reason for doing what we're doing besides "Yeah I like the sound of my own heartbeat and would rather keep listening to it". Our quest is so utterly single-minded that I really don't know what room she thinks we have to agree with her in any capacity.
