bioshock 2 crashing

before patch i could play the game now i press continue and it just crashes

welcome to the party! There are many other threads saying exactly the same thing. I had no crashing before the patch now its press space to crash!

I had same problem...crashing when pressing spacebar. Then on my 3rd try I did the left mouse click instead an it worked. However...game still randomly crashed later/early on. Have given up on playing it for now.

haven't even had a chance to start it. saw a thread to put -dx9 in your launch but that didnt work for me

Try getting a new keyboard. Space bar probably messing up they said.........

I fully completed Bioshock Remastered now I want to play 2 but when I start a new game and press a on my controller it keeps crashing. I also tried with Minerva same thing.

Same problem here! All last Save-Games crash when I load them.
Hope they can fix it without loosing my Saves <.<
And why there is no new patchnotes when we all have this problem?
Last Patchnotes are from 07.10. and not today!
They should fix it and not make it worse!

I've posted in other threads but i had occasional crashes before the patch now I have one every 2-5 mins.

edit: Uninstall update KB2670838[9][citation needed]

This will uninstall Internet Explorer!
Tested on Windows 7

Open the start menu
Go to control panel
Under "Programs" click "Uninstall a program"
On the top left "View installed updates"
After all the updates are displayed, simply search for KB2670838.
Uninstall it

Plz 2K, reverse to "before the patch"-level. Impossible to finish the game in this century because i have to replay continue the same levels by crashes and crashes again.
BS2-Remastered was running flawless.

Bad of Steam self that users can´t choose which patch they go to install or if they want to install.

Having the same problem!! As i start the game no matter if i press bar , right/left click the mouse or do nothing, game will stop working

Changed some entries in the Bioshock2Sp.ini. I could play but today the game chrashed when it tries to load a savegame.
Deleting the old ...ini, the game will renew a standard one and i could load a save. But after a while the game will crash again. Annoying !
