No sound whatsoever in Bioshock 2 Remastered
Has anyone else encountered that they have no sound ingame? Not even the menu works for me. I tried Reverb on/off and changed audio mode to 5.1 (for my 5.1 set). When I start up the game I do hear a quick noise of the menu coming up but it goes quiet after that.

Thank you for the link and information. This however does not seem to be the problem. All my other games are working just fine and I have setup the Windows audio correctly. It's just with this game.

turning sound down to 24bit 48000hz worked for me. Game sounds amazing with 5.1 and reverb.

I have Windows 10 Professional installed with Anniversary update. Im not sure about the windows media player pack.

By the way, a fun fact I just found out. The normal Bioshock 2 runs excellent with full 5.1 audio.

I have the same issue... only sound that works is on the intros, otherwise no sound whatsoever.

This worked for me also , on 16bit 48000hz.

Probably their sound is set for 48000hz only... stupid devs!
