Do you still have to kill [spoiler]?
Haven't installed this one yet, still going through 1 remastered.

When I played the original game the only way to kill Dr Lamb was to kill Grace Holloway. This prevented me from doing it because Grace was one of the few people in the game who deserved to live. Sure, she had been used by Lamb, but at least when presented with evidence she could admit that she was wrong. This means that she was a victim, not a villain.

I have heard rumours that at one time you only needed to kill two of the three to get those endings. I can cope with the other two. Do you still need three?

I am not 100% sure but I think you need to kill Grace Holloway. Im sure you can find something on Google.

As best as I can remember, as long as you save ALL the Little Sisters, you don't have to kill Grace Holloway. In fact, if you don't kill her, she has a change of heart and helps you out. You will also get a good ending. Harvest even one Little Sister and all bets are off.

Killing Grace has nothing to do with Lamb's fate. It's the number of saved people in total compared to little sister fate. If you saved all sisters, you need to kill all three people to get Lamb dead in the end. If you save even one and kill the other two, Lamb will still be saved. The other rule applies when you harvest sisters, you need to save two or three. Then, Lamb will too be saved, but only to experience being rejected by her daughter, which count as even worse fate to her than simply drown.

Thank you, RZ, that makes perfect sense. I also agree that failure and rejection is enough of a fate for Lamb, especially if you have to kill someone who doesn't deserve it otherwise.
