[FIXED] Is there a known fix for very blurry graphics?
I've matched the available GPU usage to my graphics card in the .ini file. Every other component of my pc is more than sufficient for this game, so there is definitely no problem with hardware. Played like 30 minutes ingame, no crashing either.
I got Win 10 installed, the resolution is 2560x1440 which is also set in the game settings.
I have tried to lower the resolution, starting in windowed mode and also editing the texture settings from "Normal" to "High" as well as "UltraHigh" in the .ini file. Nothing worked so far.

The world textures are as blurry as an 144p youtube vid. You barely can tell where the lines which are seperating the tiles are on the ground, Electrobolt+Drill graphics are lower than low graphic settings and you can only guess what signs are saying. Although, the menu, UI, water effects and "impact" effects like holes from hitting the wall or windows with the drill are crispy clean, looking like Ultra High settings.

I also searched the internet for a fix, but it's only showing fixes for BS:Infinite and those don't work for BS2. (obviously)

EDIT: FIXED IT!

...Steam\steamapps\common\BioShock 2 Remastered\Build\Final
and then opened "Default.ini"
1. CTRL+F and searched for "Normal"
2. Replaced all "Normal" to "UltraHigh"
(Example: TextureDetailWorld=Normal >>> TextureDetailWorld=UltraHigh)
3. Saved the file and opened Properties and set to Read Only.

Did the same with the AppData file "Bioshock2SP.ini"
Accessed it through ...AppData\Roaming\BioshockHD\Bioshock2
You can go there with typing %appdata% in your search bar in the windows menu and press enter.

After that you are able to change the settings ingame, but they won't be applied as the files are set to Read Only. This prevents the problem/bug of the .ini's being changed to Default when the game crashes.

I know this is an old post, but how do you set it to read only? in windows properties or in steam?

right click ini > Properties > General tab > bottom Read-only box

Would it not be simpler to just make the files writable and then change the options in game rather than editing the files?

The 4K texture mod looked pretty sweet
