I cant even start a new game
when I go to select new game a menu pops up giving me the option to start with new game plus, or just new game, and ive never played bioshock 2 remastered on steam, so I dont know why I have the option for NG+ anyway, when I select new game (or NG+) it shows the brightness settings, once I confirm my brightness, it goes back to the select new game/ NG+ menu, any ideas?
also I'm currently using the "Would you kindly use this patch" patch, as well as high def hd audio files I got from Nexus for Bioshock 2
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!!

This game does not have New Game+. So, the problems you are having are probably caused by the mods which you are using. Uninstall everything and check if the vanilla game works first before making any kind of modification to it.
