"I chose the impossible" achievement + Hard mode equiv

so I completely failed to not die on survivor difficulty and am going to try again to get this achievement.

Turns out I also need to get the achievement for not dying on Hard difficulty.

But if I get the achievement for survivor difficulty, then surely I am going to get the Hard mode achievement cocurrently? If not then that sucks. Anyone care to inform me?

Like with every game, completing a game on the hardest difficulty will give you achievements for the easier ones as well.

Yeah, this is nonsense. Not saying this doesn't count for Bioshock remastered, but this does not count for "every game".

Does anyone know for sure, though? Unsure if I want to put in the time for all the achievements for this one.

Yes, it works for the bioshock remaster. I got both achievements yesterday.
